Customer

The customer undertakes to comply with these and merchant-specific terms when purchasing products and services in Lapin Metsäläinen Oy's Internet services.

Ordering

General conditions

  • The prices presented in the online service are subject to VAT.
  • We apply dynamic pricing in accommodation. Prices are time-dependent and vary on a monthly, weekly and daily basis.
  • We sell services to adult individuals as well as corporate customers.
  • We reserve the right to change prices.
  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
  • We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. Before ordering, the customer must familiarize himself with the delivery terms in force at the time.

Terms of booking

These terms apply to products and services that you rent and book. These are collectively referred to as the “item”.
Booking
  • The customer is responsible for reading the description and instructions of the booking item(s) and the terms of booking.
  • The booking made by the customer is binding once the order / payment confirmation has been sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer.
  • The Service provider is not responsible for a failed booking but the customer must contact the Service Provider immediately to rectify the situation.
  • The Service Provider does not guarantee the vacancy of the item in such a case.
  • Should the item not be vacant, the money will be returned or, if possible, another item will be offered to replace it.
Cancellations and changes
  • The cancellation date is the day on which the Service provider is notified of the cancellation.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent early enough.
  • If the customer cancels his or her reservation
    • 30 days prior to the arrival at the latest, he or she will be charged 50% of the value of his or her whole reservation.
    • less than 30 days prior to the arrival, the cancellation fee is 100%, in case the item can not be resold.
    • Items booked with a discount code are always charged the full rental price, regardless of the time of cancellation.
    • The service fee for changes is 35 € (incl. VAT), to be agreed separately.
    • If a transferred reservation is canceled, the full rental price will always be charged, regardless of the time of cancellation.
Right of Service provider to cancel the booking
  • The Service provider reserves the right to terminate the lease due to force majeure. The customer who has rented the property will be notified of the termination without delay.
  • In such cases the rent will be reimbursed to the customer in full.
  • Expenses caused by the lease terminated due to force majeure will not be reimbursed to the customer.
  • In extreme cases the Service provider can also cancel a booking. The customer is notified of such cases without delay.
The keys
  • In the payment confirmation, the customer is provided with instructions on the key and the key pickup.
  • However, the owner is entitled to charge the serialisation or replacement of locks for a lost or non-returned key on full cost recovery basis, with a minimum of EUR 50.
  • The Service provider has the right to charge a compensation of a minimum of 25 € if he or she has to open the item due to a lost key or a key that has been left inside the building.
Use of the item
  • The definition of the item is available in the item description.
  • During the rental period, the customer has the right to use the item with its equipment as well as separately defined services.
  • If the booker notices any deficiencies or has any other points about the item, he must immediately inform the person in charge of booking management.
  • The customer is responsible for the tidiness of the item and the removal of waste during and after the rental period.
  • The item is at the disposal of the customer during the period specified in the item description.
  • Pets
    • The booker is fully responsible and liable for any damage caused by his or her pets.
    • Pets must be kept tethered.
    • Pet owners should pay special attention to the tidiness of the property. The accommodation is always checked after visiting pets and cleaned by the Service provider, if necessary.
    • Accommodation options that welcome pets are always marked separately.
    • The pet owner should also follow any specific further instructions provided separately.
  • Special conditions for rental equipment
    • The customer must read the safety and operating instructions for the equipment. The equipment should be used carefully and for its normal use only. The tenant undertakes to carry out a security inspection during the rental period. Rental equipment may not be exported or subleased. Rental equipment may only be used to the extent permitted by the terms and conditions and only in locations suitable for the user's skill level and competence. The customer always uses all equipment and accessories at his own risk.
    • With regard to water camping equipment (eg canoes, kayaks, SUP boards and rowing boats), the customer affirms that he is proficient in swimming and has previous experience in using the equipment in question.
    • The customer must return the equipment immediately at the end of the rental period to the agreed location, cleaned and otherwise in the same condition as it was when the equipment was handed over. The lessee must immediately notify the lessor if the return is delayed. The lessor has the right to charge an increased rent of 5% for the excess period, unless otherwise agreed.
    • The customer is obliged to compensate for damages to the rental equipment as well as costs caused by negligent or incorrect handling and inadequate maintenance during the rental period. The customer is obliged to replace the equipment destroyed or lost during the rental period with its new acquisition value. The customer is responsible for compliance with transport, safety and other regulations. The customer is obliged to notify the lessor immediately of any defective equipment.
    • The lessor is responsible for repairs caused by normal wear and tear of the equipment. The lessor shall not be liable for any direct or indirect costs or damages that may be incurred by the lessee as a result of the use or breakdown of the equipment. The lessor does not undertake to replace the broken rented equipment with new one, nor to reimburse any direct or indirect costs incurred as a result of the interruption of work.
Damages
  • The Customer is obliged to compensate the Service provider for the damage he or she has caused to the item. The booker is also responsible for other people visiting the property and for any damage caused by them during the booking.
  • The Service provider will not reimburse the Customer for any inconvenience or expense that may be incurred as a result of natural conditions such as insects, animals, frost damaged roads or unexpected weather changes.
Insurances
We recommend that our customers should obtain a travel insurance.
 
Complaints
  • Any complaints must always be made on the spot as soon as possible after the issue has arisen, so that the matter can be rectified immediately. Telephone number . +358 45 2 309 309.
  • If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily or there is a claim for compensation, the complaint must be sent in writing within 14 days of the end of the rental period.
  • However, the Service provider will endeavor to process the complaint as soon as possible, but within a maximum of one month.
  • If the customer and the Service provider do not reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board or the District Court of Lapland.

  • We do our best and are ready to evolve. We appreciate your constructive feedback.
Terms of payment
  • The Service provider uses reliable and secure payment intermediation quarters in its services.
  • The Service provider does not store bank contact or credit card information at any time.
  • The customer undertakes to comply with the terms and conditions of the chosen payment method.
  • Payment by invoice
    • The invoice must be paid by the due date indicated on the invoice.
    • Delay charges are always added to invoices paid after the due date. If the invoice has been paid after the due date with the original invoice and the delay costs have already been incurred, the costs will be invoiced separately.
  • If the payment transaction has not been successfully completed at the time of ordering, the Service provider will not process the order.

Designer Betten

Wir verwöhnen unsere Gäste mit erholsamen Schlaf. Wir haben uns für die Hilja-Betten des finnisch-deutschen Familienunternehmens MATRI entschieden, die in der eigenen Manufaktur aus 100% Naturmaterialien handgefertigt werden. Die Qualität steht bei MATRI im Mittelpunkt, bei den Produkten werden ausschließlich umweltfreundliche, zertifizierte Materialien aus europäischer Produktion verwendet. Dies sorgt für eine außergewöhnlich reine, atmungsaktive und sichere Schlafkomfort.

Rosshaar-Futons

Wir verwöhnen unsere Gäste mit wohltuenden Schlaf. Die Futonmatratze gibt dem Körper den nötigen Halt, damit sich die Muskeln beim Schlafen nicht anspannen müssen. Die atmungsaktive Matratze besteht ausschließlich aus reinen Naturmaterialien. Das Rosshaar macht den Futon sehr strapazierfähig und atumungsaktiv, die Lagen aus Bio-Baumwolle und -Wolle machen die Oberflächen schön kuschelig. Die Futons werden in Pori, Finnland, im selben Familienbetrieb handgefertigt, aus dem auch unsere ökologischen Decken und Kissen stammen.

Decken und Kissen

Wir möchten unsere Gäste mit heimischen Naturprodukten verwöhnen. Mit finnischer Schafwolle gefüllte Decken und Kissen sind eine ökologische Wahl, da sie im Boden biologisch abbaubar sind. Wolle ist von Natur aus feuerfest und erfordert keine Zugabe von Brandschutzchemikalien und ist ansonsten ein chemikalienfreies Produkt. Bettwäsche schwitzt auch bei heißem Wetter nicht, da sie die aufgenommene Feuchtigkeit effizient verdunstet und bei Kälte und Feuchtigkeit angenehm warm bleibt. Porin Villa und Peite verwenden finnisches Kunsthandwerk, um Plüschstreu aus lokal produzierten Rohstoffen herzustellen.

Bettwäsche

Wir möchten unsere Gäste mit weichen Leinenbettwäsche verwöhnen. Jesus Leinentücher sind gemacht, um zu halten, zu erleben und viel zu sehen, auch für Generationen. Das Material Leinen ist eine schöne, langlebige und umweltfreundliche Naturfaser. Leinen ist schwer, glatt und steifer. Atmungsaktives Leinen behält bei Hitze seine Kühle und wärmt auch an kühleren Orten.
Der Tragekomfort und die Weichheit des Stoffes nehmen beim Waschen nur zu. Finlayson wollte die haltbarsten Bleche der Welt herstellen, wofür sie das bis heute erhaltene Modell des Turiner Grabtuchs nahmen.

Handtücher

Wir verwöhnen unsere Gäste mit den feinsten Handtücher. Der gewebte Stoff von Lapuan Kankurit ist ein typisch nordisches Design, inspiriert von Finnlands reiner und rauer Natur. Das Familienunternehmen webt bereits in der vierten Generation - Umweltbewusst und nachhaltig. Es werden nur natürliche Rohstoffe wie Leinen und Wolle verwendet. Die hochwertige Textilien halten bei richtiger Pflege Jahrzehnte.
